Your mission
As a Robot Application Engineer (m/f/d), you ensure that our robots operate reliably and at peak performance at our customers’ sites. You identify opportunities for optimization, support robot commissioning, and work closely with our Development and Customer Teams to continuously improve our solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Oversee our robots for both new and existing customers and actively contribute ideas for optimizing our solutions
- Analyze robot performance and derive targeted optimization measures in collaboration with our Development teams
- Conduct and evaluate internal tests to ensure the quality and performance of our robots
- Create detailed reports for internal purposes as well as for communication with customers and other stakeholders
- Support evaluation scans and system commissioning at our customers’ sites
- Support the setup and configuration of software for our robots to ensure smooth integration
Your profile
- A successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable technical field, or a completed vocational qualification combined with relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills to independently identify optimization potential in our products and derive targeted improvement measures
- Initial relevant experience in application optimization, ideally with a focus on improving performance and efficiency
- Good knowledge of working with Linux-based systems
- Ideally, practical experience with Python for configuring and customizing software solutions
- Ideally, experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS 2)
- Willingness to travel (50%) to support customer projects and on-site commissioning
- Enjoy working independently as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Fluent German and English, with strong communication skills
